Appearance: Arthur is a tall and muscular young man with blazing red/orange hair and deep purple eyes. He has brazen golden armor and a three horned helmet with his sword ' Lady Forlorn' slung across his back. Under his armor he wears a white scarf that spills over its top and regular civilian clothes.

Personality: Arthur has the typical qualities of any true knight. Brave, Courteous, Chivalrous, and Honorable are all in his character in spades. He is a calm, kind, and carefree leader whom is fearless and almost cheerful in most battles. Although he prefers to lead with compassion and inspire comradery, he is more than aware of his frightful reputation and uses it to cultivate fear in his opponents or unruly subordinates, showing he can get serious when he needs to be. In fact his wrath has gained a bit of reputation itself, since it is rare but ruthless when incured. Also hidden under his friendly and happy demeanor is a brilliant mind with unrivaled perception, able to sense anyones true intentions and natures within seconds of meeting them. He also has an eye for talent and a prodigious eye with magic, being a budding scholar who spends hours at a time in the Council Library if he is not tending to Rune Knight business.

Strength:
Physical Capabilities-A skilled warrior with a body trained to perfection out of neccesity to survive Arthur's physical attritbutes are unbelievable and inhuman. He is as strong as any Knight under his command, and has displayed rediculous feats of strength such as leveling a building with a flick. He is strong enough to swing his giant two handed sword with the ease and grace one would wield a rapier. His speed rivals his strength, seemingly teleporting with just the twitch of his ankle and is capable of once running across the cotenent of Fiore within a day to get to another battlefield, displaying his incredible stamina and indomitable will as well. This will makes him fight with wounds and injuries that would sideline most S class mages for weeks, without a single grimace.

Swordsmanship- Arthur is the deadliest greatsword wielder in the world, unrivaled in the use of two handed blades and is more than enough a master of other blades to still be counted among the worlds deadliest duelist with even a knife. His speed, grace, and technique are all like watching a light speed dance of steel, capable of making ten thousand slashes in a second with the accuracy to cleave the wings of flying ant in two. His has technqiues that allow him to cut on the atomic level and has split mountains with a flick of the wrist. His greatest attribute is his strength with a blade though. Utilizing his large frame he overpowers opponents and beats them into submissions, numbing their arms if their blades are able to withstand the impact of a clash in an attempt to parry.

Overwhelming Magical Power- On a daily basis it is a struggle for Arthur to keep the massive resevoir of his magic power contained to a normal level. Even among the council his magic presence is an anamoly only rivaled in sheer amount by a few fellow chair members. His magic power at a dormant level is equal to the entirety of his squad's put together. When released anything non-living can expect to be blown away and/or disentregrated upon reaching his full potential. Despite every one of Arthur's magics being extremely taxing on the magic reserves, he has never even expressed the slightest concern about being towards the end of his magic power in a battle.


Weaknesses: His code of honor makes him vulnerable to underhanded fighters and those whom would use tricks to gain the advantage. He also has such experience fighting against groups he is out of practice in the beginning moments of a one on one fight on how to take on a singular opponent. His chivalry also demands he takes it easy on women, leaving him vulnerable to the fairer sex.


Extra information:  He has two swords, one is known to the public as Lady Forlorn, the second is hidden within his private quarters at Council HQ under lock and key as well as a seal to hides it power and prevent anyone without a magic signature matching Arthur's to open it.

Spoiler:

Lady Forlorn- The Blade that never leaves Arthurs side when he is on active duty; repaired and given to him by a blacksmith he saved, when he found the blade battered and beaten stuck against a stone within Fiore on his first day as a Rune Knight. It is infused with a powerful rune that gives the blade the ability to 'choose' what it wishes to touch or not touch in response to Arthur's eterano or magic power. Like his other blade it is linked to his signature magic and is in a sense 'bound' to be used by only him. The ability choose has two very powerful advantages. The first is once it has chosen to touch something it can cut that object, no matter how hard or of what nature it is. The second is its ability to choose not to touch, giving it the ability to circumvent touching an object to get to what he really wants, such as bypassing armor so that his sword cuts directly into his opponents body. The more powerful option is to use his signature technique 'wail' which allows him to blow away attacks by choosing not let them touch. The downside is it take more concentration for him to touch or not touch more than one thing at a time, and there is a lag no matter the concentration level, between choosing objects.

MAGIC AND ABILITIES

Name Magic: Gaia, Revenant, Link, Unknown, Misc.

Magic:


Gaia-One of the first magics bestowed upon mages, given to mages whom respected and had a deep connection to the earth in anceint times. It hand't been wielded by a mage for thousands of years until Arthur awakened it after inheriting it from his mothers blood, her family belonging to a tribe having been one of the original worshippers of Gaia magic. It gives Arthur complete control over earth and the natural things found within earthland. Natural disasters do his bidding. A torando sweeping through a village, thats his to command. An Earthquake sinking a whole island into the sea? Within Gerold's doing. Tsunamis, Landslides, Volcanos, Avalanches, Blizzards, Thunderstorms, etc.; are all under Gerold's control. Earth and its minerals, like diamond and metal are also within in his control. Because of the God Like feats he is capable of repilcating with this magic is one of the reasons he is dubbed the God Knight.


Revenant- Arthur's first magic, and some believe the reason he became a knight in the first place is Revenant. The Revenant is a magical knight formed from the power of Eterano, a pure eterano Etheral Knight that is summoned from within Arthur and stays in close proximity to him. This close connection to the birth of all magic in eterano gives it the ability to strike a mage physically and magically, providing Arthur with an ultimate offensive and defensive weapon. The knight himself has a connection to preserve Arthur's well being at all cost, protecting him from danger that rarely Arthur is unable to react to. The knight is also immune warping magics, being that is a soul of eterano it cannot be split or stopped in time by magics, never does it have to adhere to rules or runes either, it can also expand or shrink in size in relation to how much Eterano Arthur focuses or desires to give it.


Link- One of the best magics for a leader of men to have is Link, giving Arthur the ability to share his abilities with or have someone share with him the abilities of those Arthur has formed a link with. He has established links with all The Rune Knight Commanders. When someone he has linked to is activated a seal glows upon there body signifying its activation. The Link can share magics, abilities, and magic power levels. To Arthur himself he can feel whomever he has linked with and even share memories and information. However when a magic is borrowed it is the only magic you can use, even sealing off your own for a moment in time. Magic Power can be shared freely however. There is another stipulation as well, the borrowing person has to have accepted the persons exchanging the link.



Unknown- Arthur has a rarely used magic that only the council members and the Rune Knights know he has, and it kept a secret on Arthur's request so he can catch his opponents off guard. He uses it as a last resort. There is also rumor that Arthur possess another secret magic that he refuses to use under any cirucmstance. His stronger opponents have sensed a certain danger that they could not place with his other magics and asked why he is holding back. The council members that asked of it know why he doesn't use it. The magic is new and experimental, drawing on powers old and new in the magic world. It is so raw that he cannot control it, let alone give it a name or explain clearly and totally what it does, but it is dangerous enough that Arthur would rather give up his life then the potential of ending countless others if he released it uncontrolled.


Misc- Being a powerful mage and a well traveled, and well read one at that, Arthur knows a varitey of smaller spells and techniques that do not belong to a certain magic. Requip his armor, archive magic for information, thought projection to attend council meetings while he himself is at a battlefield, so and so forth.

BACKGROUND

History: Arthur is the son of former Rune Knight and a Gypsy women turned housewife by her Knight in shining armor of a husband. Arthur never met his father, with him falling in combat as a sacrifice so his comrades could make it out alive with the information they had gathered so the mission would not fail on the same day he was born. His mother believing that her husbands spirit was the Revenant magic, Arthur's father having defied the heavens to continue to protect his son, wanted to keep Arthur away from violence so she would not have to suffer another loss and cling onto a part of her husband. Her attempts to do so were in vain, as Arthur grew up fascinated with the Rune Knights and magic in general, and his power could not be kept hidden for long. When he awakened Gaia, she sent him to her parents to travel hoping to get him away from the Rune Knights influence, but once again this failed and only served in Arthur seeing the need for the Rune Knights and fascinated by the other magics around the world. When he was of age Arthur immediately enlisted, and shot up the ranks. Well liked because of his personality and well respected because of his power, he got private lessons from Matthew the leader of the Magic Council. His reputation grew in conflicts between Fiore and other magic countries, his combat prowess being feared throughout Earthland as a virtual one man army. His greatest moment was when the previous Lord Commander fell, and Arthur took up command mid battle, turning the tide from a certain loss to a total victory in the span of an hour from great strategy and unheard of battle strength...all at the tinder age of 18. Now 5 years later he is Lord Commander himself and has led the Rune Knights to new heights and sits the Council bringing at soldiers experience, and a scholars mind to the meetings, along with his power as The God Knight.
