From one place to another

The dead of night, the blueish purple sky filled with stars, the streets lit up with lights and very little people. This was all very nice and all but Kain didn't care for it. Sitting on the edge of the clock tower Kain turn around and laid down. Looking up at the stars he wanted to get home or at least find something but yet he was still very far from home. Walking all of this way for a mission and killing his target he loved it but yet he wonder to gain his rep and his power. That all he wanted. Slowly he close his eyes drafting off to sleep.

Izumo was scaling the clock tower, he heard that he could see a great view of the whole town from the tower. But the town was having a festival, the only way he could get to the the top of the tower would be to climb it. Izumo hop inside the tower, from one of it windows. "Hm... This place is huge."

The ears of Kain begin to twitch from a sound. He could hear something coming his way but he was still pretty high up. With everything going on downstairs though he probably just thought it was his ears. Looking up at the clock he notice that he still had time, ignoring the noise and he try to get a little sleep.

The whole place was dark, and the doors to the stairs were locked. Izumo turned into smoke and fazed passed the doors that lead to the stairs. *Lots of stair* Izumo thought to himself, he decided that scaling the stairs in smoke form would be better with any luck he would reach the top before the fireworks would go off. Izumo quickly reach to the top floor fazing passed the door. To the distant he saw a figure. "Hello?" He spoke in a calm soft tone.

Kain open his left eye. Seeing what look like? Smoke? "What are you?" Kain simply asked the form as he kept his eyes close and yawn slowly. Look like he would be getting up soon and heading back to trying to get home.

Izumo forgot that he was in smoke form when he heard Kain ask the question. Izumo body quickly became solid, going back to it's original form. "Sorry, forgot about that." Izumo walked a bit forward so he could see Kain clearly. "Didn't know someone else was here, came here to get a good view of the place? Or to get away from the locals?"

"To sleep I hate these people." He spoke out looking at the guy. Wait he just thought this guy turned into smoke? Was it smoke magic?

"Can't say that I disagree, the people here are noisy. Mind if I sit?" Izumo stared at the moon.

Kain didn't say anything he didn't really mind he suppose if this guy sat down. Kain open his eyes and sat up to look down at the people of this town. There was a Dark Guild in this town once long ago. That is if he was remembering right.

Izumo walked forward, taking a seat. He fix his glasses with his index finger. The townfolks finished setting up fireworks and all gathered at the town's center. "Hmm..." Izumo didn't say much, still looking at the people down below. "So you're from here, or visiting?"

"Passing through" He simply said if you knew Kain you knew he wasn't one for talking. The young wizard did more actions then talking most of the time. So he was just sort of staring off out into the distance, into the town people and all of their noise. "I'm just heading home"

"Ah." Izumo closed his eye, thinking for a brief bit. It was nights like this that made Izumo feel at peace, well nights where he can think and relax. The smoke from the fireworks smelled good. Izumo simply inhaled as the smoke raised up. Izumo was eating the smoke.

"What type of slayer are you?" From the side of Kain eye he could see him eating the smoke. In this world there are many kinds of slayers, he wonder what kind he was? His guess was Dragon Slayer since the smoke was a normal color. Still Kain waited for answer

Izumo finished his little meal, Izumo slowly took off his glasses to clean them. "I'm a Dragon Slayer, Smoke Dragon Slayer if it wasn't clear." Izumo looked down at his glasses, before wiping them. "You're from a guild?" Izumo wasn't sure if he was, he seemed like a guy that kept to himself.

"I am" Kain told him. Then thinking to himself since would could Dragon Slayer turn into their element? The he recalled what he was told about Fairy Tail's Laxus. Maybe it was true or maybe it was just a rare thing who really knew.

Izumo noticed the guy puzzled look. "Something else you wanted to know?" Izumo held his hand out. "My apologizes, I was rude earlier. My name is Izumo. And you?" Izumo paused.

Kain looked at his hand for a moment. He didn't shake it "Kain a pleasure" That was more then he normally said. Kain himself paused a minute, sniffing just a little bit "Your not part of a guild? Why? Your a twin Dragon Slayer" That was the most Kain had said throughout all of this and yet he asked a question. During more then Kain normally would anyway.

Izumo was rather impress that Kain was able to figure out so much just from sniffing him. Izumo was certain now that Kain was a slayer, but as to what kind he wasn't sure yet. Izumo heard Kain question but paused before answering it, in the past Izumo did belong to a guild, but that was his past. "I just haven't found a place I can call home yet... So you must be a slayer Kain, if you could tell that I was a twin dragon slayer."

Kain gave him a nod. But it wasn't Kain nose from being a slayer that gave Izumo away it was something else. Looking at Izumo he wonder how strong he was. "I am" Kain said still staring at him trying to figure out his skill level. "How strong are you?"

Izumo closed his eyes, he been in a lot of battles. "That's a vague question, ask it to anyone. They surely would say their strong. I've had my fair share of experience to say I'm strong" Izumo never really thought about giving himself an evaluation on how strong he was, he just alway went the flow. "I guess battling is a better way to figure out how strong someone truly is." Izumo opened his eyes, staring off in the distance.

Kain thought about what he said. A Dragon Slayer something his guild really didn't have, he seemed strong enough, he seem to be able to handle himself, even though he wasn't the Guild Master why not? "Izumo would you like to come to my guild?" Kain asked as he kept staring off into the distance. If he wanted to or not was up to Izumo.

Izumo was silent for a brief moment. He was in a guild before, things just didn't go well. Izumo shrugged the thought however. "Hmm...Sure, may I ask what type of guild it is." Thinking about what kind of missions would be asked of him, he thought about it all.

"Follow me and find out." Kain said dropping down from the clock tower. Falling down the wind shot his ponytail into the air, falling Kain hit the ground feet first. Standing up and rubbing his neck he waited for Izumo to drop down as well. They had a long trip ahead of them.

Izumo stood, he looked down. Kain made it look so easy, Izumo jumped down landing next to Kain. He gently touch the ground, dusting off his clothes he looked at Kain, figuring where they which direction they needed to head off to.

They walked north. Kain kept walking north, he walked pass people, he walked pass animals, he just kept walking north it was a long walk in any case.
