Issuing a Challenge

Marcus sent Owain to the council, he had the right documents with him allowing him to reach as far as he did. He stood outside of the Rune Knights barracks, Arthur told him he had a special someone in mind for him as a rival. From that day forth he didn't get much sleep, nor was he able to leave the town. In thrill to prove himself and to learn from the knights Owain couldn't contain himself.

Owain was silent but his mind was clear from all distraction. As Kamaris dashed forward Owain was already on his toes. Owain bobbed his head to the right dodging the first jab, his knee quickly bounced from the ground blocking the second jab that came from below. Taking his other free leg, Owain bounced back giving himself breathing space. No soon as he landed he was on the counter attack. Owain jabbed at Kamaris as his two limbs were extend out already, using that to his advantage. The first jab was a gut wrecking jab, while the second one was a jab to the side of Kamaris rib. The second jab would roll, combing into a round house from Owain.

Marcus chuckled at Arthur's words. "They got a ways to go before they can even face me. But it's refreshing to see strong warriors within our ranks." Marcus had watched the two go on. There fight was just only picking up.

With his outstretched limbs being hit to throw him off balance Kamaris leaned back and tucked his ribs, still taking the blow to his gut as well as his ribs but lessening their impact. He jumped up catching Owain's leg with his own and spun in mid air until they both ended up on the ground with Kamaris holding onto Owain's leg in a heel hook. "I underestimated your skill without the blade it seems."

Owain had a smirk on his face. "As did I." Owain had bounced on his foot that was firmly on the ground to kick the foot lock. With a quick spin in the as he did, he quickly trapped Kamaris foot with both of his own foot lock, using both of his own. He landed on the ground and propelled himself up launching Kamaris with his flip. Owain shortly appeared above Kamaris in the air and struck him with an over head strike before landing.

Kamaris relaxed his body to wiggle free of Owain's own lock and waited till the over head strike was close to his head before deftly moving his ear to his shoulder to narrowly avoid the blow, spinning with his legs out like a windmill he uprighted himself to his feet before being on Owain in an instant throwing his hip into his opponents for a hip toss but before Owain hit the ground Kamaris whipped him up throwing him skyward. As he was in the air trying to get his barrings Kamaris leaped off a tree to meet him sending a barrage of punches raining down on his new rival before again grabbing him and hurling him to the ground. His hands began to glow golden "Holy Rain" He said as explosive droplets of holy magic crashed down on Owain.

Owain was hurled into the air, having little to no way to dodge the attacks or react to them due no mobility in the air. Owain went on the defenses, moving his arms to cover his face and tightening up his stomach area he was able to block the hits. When Kamaris slammed him to the ground, Owain had slammed his heel to the ground to hurl himself backwards to quickly recover from Kamaris assault. Owain looked up, as the droplets of light aimed at him. Owain quickly punched the ground causing a large piece of the ground to crack. Owain quickly kicked the edge with his foot to launch the slab of earth to block the droplets of light.

Kamaris followed after his light drops watching as they met with the rock to create a dust explosion on impact, he himself emerging from the dust decoy and was in close to Owain in an instant. He kneed his rival in the face before spinning and delivering an elbow to the back of his head that was snapped back by the knee a mere nanosecond before. He then jumped back creating distance and again taking a deep breath to clear his head with one arm outstretched and the other in a loose fist at his hip.
