Arrival At Shadow Wolves And Apparently Wishing To Speak With A Little Girl

Since Valnos was gone Kia was still left at the guild she had all of the thing she needed and was fine decently on her down she was in room and Valnos' room playing with the rock she got form Raizo when the sound of movement got her nervous and abit exsited because she thought Valnos was back, Kia opened her door and looked around being her regular scared self she said "Hello?....." She had said it after opening the door she had not left her room yet.

Pein's eyes darted down a hallway when he heard a faint voice just from the voice he could take a guess, young, probably who he was looking for. Pein took off down the hallway without a second thought, he didn't even know if any guild members were here just so long as he found who he was looking for that was all that mattered to him. He saw a little head sticking out into the hallway. "Kia, are you alright?" Pein know Kia was not in any real danger being in Valnos' care, if he was anything like his father way at least. Pein had only ever met the Seffer's once in his life family friends was what his mother had told him, Pein know it was more than that, his mother did not believe in having many friends meaning for Valason and Sabrina family friends was more than just getting together to talk, it was serious and Pein would take it seriously. Pein was young when he first say Kia and she would likely not even remember him or Aoi possibly.

Aoi's eyes shot open realizing who they had come to see. "Kia!" Aoi practically screamed out running down the hallway Aoi was quick to give Kia a big hug. "You've gotten so big since last time we seen you, how have you been? How are your-"

Pein cut her off with a hand on her shoulder when she looked up he was shaking his head no. He pulled Aoi off of Kia and Knelt down he pulled out a necklace, "A gift, do you like it?" Pein asked with a warm smile. The necklace had a heart pendant on it, and inside was a magic seal, Aoi's magic seal incase Kia was in trouble so they could find her. After witnessing the previous battle at Killious' manor Pein knew that since Kia was in Hargeon town during the attack that trouble would be in Kia's future and part of his promise to his mother to continue to stand for everything she believed in was to protect his friends.

Once two people talk Kia's reaction seemed like she was abit frightened at first she seemed to not really remember who they were at first not sure what to do Kia looked like at them with a blank stare for a second.

Kia's expression:

Once Aoi huged Kia she kind of smiled abit "I..am fine." She kind of spoke as if she did not know what to do while looking at the necklace he said notinhg while she slowly reached out to take it, she also seemedi n thought trying to remember who these people were or not.

"There's no need to be frightened child, I am a friend of Valnos" Though Pein wondered if even Valnos would remember his face they had met once and then Pein had pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth. Pein kept the same smile on his face, "Last time we seen you, you could barely open your eyes, now look at you" Pein gestured to her with amazment in his voice, most of it just an illusion this was all business...He wanted to protect Kia and Valnos too, though he wondered if he was here now... "Your not in this place all alone are you?"

Pein stood up and nodded at Aoi when he did Aoi nodded back and started to wonder the guild house, one to make sure it was safe two to make sure no one could listen in on the conversation. "Kia, I know you were at the attack in Hargeon, you and Valnos. It's good to see that your okay." Pein smiled once more. "Has a man in white or any member of the council come to see you?" Pein knew this was wrong but he was planning to use Kia as bait to get Killious to come forward, if she had not yet been questioned then if rumor got out that Kia knew of Killious secret he would send instantly to have her disposed of...Pein was sure of it all he had to do was keep Kia safe, a simple enough task.

Aoi reappeared behind Pein she had found nothing around She looked at Kia, she didn't know what Peins plans were for Kia...

"Do you know where I could possibly find Valnos?" Pein wanted to talk with Valnos about his plan though he knew Valnos would probably not be okay with Kia being used as bait he wanted to warn him what potential dangers could take place.

Pein placed a hand on her head, "Alright, now I have one last thing to tell you" Pein started to walk down the hall turning over his shoulder.... "What happened at Hargeon Town with the attack, you need to forget everything you remember about it..." Pein walked out the doors.

Aoi knelt down to Kia's level... "Don't worry about him, he just wants to keep you safe" She spoke in a soft voice stroking Kia's hair. "You want to go get something to eat?" Aoi asked holding out a hand, Kia was young so she didn't expect her to know how to really cook for herself so Aoi thought that she might need some food.

As Pein walked outside the doors Marcus was there with his pet wolf Nixx. The look on his face was that of an angry person. "I don't like unannounced guest walking inside my home. I'll personal kill anyone who have the never to do such a thing." His voice was deep and he was angry that Pein had the audacity to do such a thing. Nixx growled low at him.

Aoi grabbed a hold of Kia's hand, "What would you like to eat?" Aoi asked kindly not knowing Kia all that well as she had only met her once when she was little she only really knew her name...She felt bad, she almost asked about her parents and Pein had stopped her. Did she not realize her mother was dead, or was she trying to kid herself. Aoi felt sorry for how Kia would have to grow up.

Pein's eyes shot up to Marcus he looked him over, he was roughly the same size as Pein, though Pein was also much bigger than he looked due to the baggy robe. He looked at the wolf as well, larger than a standard wolf from what he saw. No doubt dangerous if along side someone who claimed this was his home obviously making him the guild master. "I would advise you not to make such an empty threat." Pein's voice calm with a hint of arrogance, he didn't hesitate to reply and was obiously quick on his feet to have such a reply already set up..."How ever, I feel I can forgive you seeing as how you dod not know to whom you are speaking to." He locked eyes with Marcus a grin on his face he held out his hand. "My name is Pein EmberHeart, I came to speak with Valnos and Kia, but Valnos appears to be out..." Pein paused for a moment did he dare mention that Aoi was in the guild house now with Kia...This wolf would likely pick up the scent so hiding it was useless he suposed. "Aoi is inside right now tending to Kia"

Marcus cooled his thoughts, a rash man wouldn't live to see another day he thought; a quote his old master Liliana told him when he was young. "No keep your hand to yourself, I don't care who you are or what business you have with Valnos. But you will not come in unannounced and roam in my house. Nixx, go in and protect the girl. As for empty threats, I don't do such things; I say what I mean and mean what I say." Marcus loved his guild and didn't care what Pein had on his mind he knew one thing, he didn't like this guy. He was a walking arrogance man, and Marcus hated arrogance to begin with. He held his hand up teleporting Aoi out from the guild and waved his hand closing the doors and locking them. A barrier seal appeared on the doors, only a Shadow Wolves mage would be able to unlock it truely. Marcus snapped his fingers; wild strange large animals walked from every direction closer in. "Now leave this holy land, or you'll know why; a Shadow Wolves mage should never be crossed. After all Liliana taught me all I need to know to deal with scum who mistreat my home." Marcus eyes couldn't be seen due to the shades he had on, so they wouldn't notice he was blind and they wouldn't also know the threat level he was since the shades had also masked his magic.

"Sure thing sweetie" Aoi smiled though it quickly turned to a wince, she felt the tug someone was trying to teleport her. If not for the fact that Aoi also had teleportation magic she would have been forced out instantly sadly she could feel when people tried to teleport her as others could when she went to move her, without their consent she could not move them and in turn without hers people could teleport her. She quickly smiled again. "Let's go, it doesn't seem like Pein and I are welcome here" Aoi began to walk down the hall to the door with Kia.

Pein casually lowered his hand, not even slightly offended by how Marcus was acting. He too elt the tug it came from Aoi it was her way of telling him the He had tried to teleport them. "We mean no harm to anyone, the girl is in danger and it is my responsibility to protect...I do not believe in fighting those who share the same side as I do, but if you interfer I will be left with no choice" Pein and Marcus were on the same side whether Marcus saw it or not, they both wanted the girl to be safe but Pein was going to do it the way he knew she would always be safe. Further more it was Pein's duty to protect Kia with his life. Marcus would not cause him to back down even slightly.

Marcus didn't care what Pein was saying, all he knew was nothing was adding up. Killiuos arrival with the bounty of his master and now this. One thing for sure was this girl had something to be tied with this in some way. "I know your not gonna like what I have to say, but again I mean what I say. No one is leaving out here with anyone from the guild. The little girl stay, Valnos asked me to look after her, and that's what I'll do. If you know Valnos so much, how come he didn't inform me of your arrival?" Marcus face twitched up as he asked his question, could he be working for Killiuos?; Or perhaps he needed the girl, to silence her. It didn't matter what it was to him, all he knew was a duty from a friend was given and nothing was adding up. He was gonna stay true to his word. Nixx followed behind the two snarling. She sniffed that fact that Kia was unsettle, that was all Marcus and Nixx needed. Kia obviously didn't know the two.

Aoi knelt down hearing the worry in Kia's voice... "I am not supposed to tell you this Kia but there is a man with a lot of power and he wants to hurt you and Valnos and put you guys to sleep like he did your mother" Aoi wiped a tear from her face. "Pein is going to protect you and Valnos with his life...his mother and your grandparents were very close friends, now there is a man outside trying to tell Pein he is not allowed to protect you, so you have two choices on you now and I want you to make it" Aoi held back more tears to show Kia she wasn't afriad but deep down Aoi was very afraid of everything that was going to take place. "You can go outside and tell this man that it is okay that you come with us...or I can teleport the both of us out of here to my house and I can make us some waffles. And we can leave Pein to deal with the man outside" Aoi tried smiling weakly, Pein had said leaving Kia here was not an option it was not safe from Killious with him being a council member and the amount of power he had shown while fighting with Liliana...And with the judges still being out there it was even more unsafe for Kia.

"Valnos didn't know we were coming he also does not know the danger they are both in, and you do not seem to want to understand, these people after Kia and Valnos, there is no law stopping them, no limitations and from what I've seen no end to their magic, I doubt I can stop them on my own but I am the only one who stands a chance" Pein didn't mean to sound full of himself but he had one of the most rare magics in the world a bloodline limit meaning you had to be breed with it you could not simply learn it. Also with the life seperation magic he used he could not simply be killed and his house also known as the former guild house of the Ancestral Guild, was hidden in a forest of fog and magic seals to find someone there was impossible.

Nixx the wolf moved out from the shadows and moved in close, her teeth beard out and her icy cold silver eyes looked at Aoi. Marcus was able to see inside the Guild and sent a mental note to Nixx; telling her to watch out for Kai. Marcus looked forth, he folded his arms. "The people you speak of wouldn't be council member Killiuos? If so, then I'll deal with him; my magic is rare and shouldn't be taken lightly. But I won't hand the girl over alone, if you say what you mean then I prefer to wait till Valnos himself get back." Marcus figured that a enemy was at work here, it mad him believe that enemy was Killious due to what Liliana hinted and all of a sudden a wanted posted of her. Marcus knew, Killiuos wouldn't be foolish on attacking Shadow Wolves unless he wanted to start war, and give his identity up. Marcus also wasn't swayed by Pein as of yet.

"Pein will get Valnos and bring him to safety, and I will protect you" Aoi kissed Kia on the forehead as soon as she did the two of them were no longer in the guild house but they were at Pein's house in the kitchen. Aoi let go of Kia, "Let's get you those waffles, and then pick you out a nice room" Aoi began to rummage through the cupboards for supplies and ingredients/ "You and Valnos did not do anything wrong Kia, but you know more than your supposed to and that puts you at risk and because Valnos wouldn't let anyone harm you he too is in trouble. Pein is going to stop the people after you and while he does you and Valnos need to hid" Aoi wanted to reassure Kia so she would understand better what was happening, she was so young she knew this would harder for her to understand.

Pein chuckled, "Killious is the least of your worries, it's the people that are secretly working for him...They are dangerous with almost limitless magic and knowledge, I've seen them in combat a couple times they nearly destroyed my friend Liliana if not for one of her most powerful summons managing to make them want to re think their stradegy. And that was only two of them really fighting her, something happened to one of them near the beginning and the other two were starring down an intruder on the battle field" Pein continued to try and explain what was happening unaware that Liliana was infact Marcus' master. Pein and Liliana were on the same team already after a little discussion....well Liliana was not willing to accept his help just yet he knew she trusted him. "Besides as you probably already figured out it's too late Aoi has taken the girl to a safe location and I am going to get Valnos..." Pein began to walk towards the path, he had a feeling things were not done, Marcus probably was really furious now and probably had more words to say to Pein.

Marcus raised an eye brow. "Should of told your friend that wasn't wise. For someone who's trying to sway my trust in. That wasn't a wise move, nor was it......smart on your part. The wolf not only protects the guild like me but also have great senses towards magic. The wolf see your friends magic trail and can easily trace it back. As for these people you speak of, no one have such power and no weakness. Even the great dragon has fallen victim to mightiest of warriors. Besides, when people and magic get involved; magic tends to get pulled down and have limits. Since it's no longer raw, these limits tend to exist to balance things out." Marcus remember his master telling him this and remember reading it plenty times over in ancient text.

As Aoi left without Marcus uplifting the magic seal, she triggered the alarm. A large tiger with bladed armor on and steel plated tail had walked from the shadows. Marcus held his hand up. "Easy their big guy. I got this, tell the others there won't be no need for a counter attack." The tiger spoke in a lazy yet cold tone as if he was mad for being woken up. "Marcus, you know how I feel about my sleep. I suggest you deal with things quick before Kuro and the others catch wind. Especially you know who." The large tiger was referring to the real Guild Master. "You speak of Liliana's name as if you know her and her summonings. These people you speak of, they seem........a bit weak to follow Killiuos. But back to pressing and more important matters, the girl."
